PONTIAN: Datuk Seri Najib Razak was seen mingling with voters in Tanjung Piai on Sunday (Nov 10), a day earlier before a High Court decides whether the former prime minister needs to enter his defence for the SRC International Sdn Bhd case on Nov 11.
The Pekan MP arrived at a coffee shop here in Pontian at about 9.15am.
A crowd of almost 100 people greeted his arrival while shouting “Malu apa? Bossku” (What is there to be embarrassed of? My boss).
He spent about 40 minutes shaking hands with voters alongside Barisan Nasional candidate Datuk Seri Dr Wee Jeck Seng.
“The campaign will go on as usual,” he told the press when asked about the result of his case.
He added that the campaign for the by-election here is getting positive feedback from the public and Barisan would continue to work hard.
Also present was MCA Wanita chief Heng Seai Kie, MCA Youth chief Nicole Wong as well as Umno supreme council member Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.
