Four stranded in Bukit Larut after landslide blocks access road

IPOH: Four telecommunications station workers are stranded on Bukit Larut in Taiping after a landslide cut off access.

A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said they received a call over the incident at 8.52am Sunday (Nov 10).

He said the victims were facing difficulties coming down due to the landslide on the tarred road.

“The operation to get all four of them down is being carried out.

“Both Taiping Municipal Council and Public Works Department employees are clearing the site of the landslide, ” the spokesman added.
